Michelle is a proud, single mother of two wonderful children and the owner of thrivance®. She began her journey 25 years ago, preparing taxes for a local tax preparation office. Later in 2002 she opened her own business, known then as MG Tax Filers, and her business and reputation soared. To meet the increasing demand, Michelle began offering additional services such as accounting and payroll for local businesses, notary benefits, and business and start-up consultation. The services provided by MG Tax Filers were in such high demand as her clientele increased that Michelle’s little business thrived and transformed, officially re-branding as thrivance® in late 2015. Richard is a retired, family man. He has many, many, MANY years of experience as an accountant and decided to start working at thrivance after his wife passed away a few years ago. We value his knowledge and take his advice to heart.

Ivana joined the thrivance® team in 2007 as a personal assistant. She quickly demonstrated her ability and competence in completing many different types of projects and tasks, as the importance of projects she handled escalated. With Ivana’s can-do attitude and positive, go-get-‘em outlook on life, her infectious smile became a vital part of the work day and her place in the family was established. She enjoys dancing at salsa night, cooking for friends and family, and regularly attends the movies.
Nayali joined the thrivance® team in 2014 and is an aspiring medical student who is currently studying at Blinn College to become an EMT. With her passions centered in health and family, she enjoys exercising, playing sports, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Her savviness in conducting the flow of operations during the height of tax season and ability to quell potentially stressful situations has proven her to be an indispensable part of the team.

Paty joined the thrivance® team in 2013. She is a family woman and enjoys spending time with her 3 young boys and husband. Paty assists with Spanish translation and other services. Paty’s dedication to her faith has given her a zeal to life and the enthusiasm to work hard to provide for her and her family.
Angelica Johnson "AJ" joined the thrivance® team in 2015. She brings valuable years of customer service experience. She enjoys interacting with every guest and is sure to brighten anyone’s day. AJ is dedicated to her family and her passion in caring for others in need.
